For its Hallowe’en event, Final Fantasy 14 held a haiku contest. I hadn’t written a haiku before, so I decided to try my hand at it (I imagine most people hadn’t, so it was a good chance). Here’s the entry:
Ghosts patrol the town
Sad smiling lit pumpkins stare
While I bake bread, still
(For non-FF14 players, I spend a lot of my time cooking, and ignored the seasonal festivities). And hey, apparently I was one of the (many) winners.
