Dialogue Demo

DialogueCoverDemo

The demo version of Dialogue: A Writer’s Story is up on itch.io [Edit – the demo of Dialogue is no longer available, now that the game has released here]. If you enjoy stories, narrative games, voice acting or just everyday conversations, give it a try. If you’re still on the fence, here’s a description of the game:

In Dialogue, you play as Lucille, a writer in her mid-twenties, as she carries out conversations with her friends, family and neighbours while writing her second novel.

During the game, you’ll have many opportunities to steer the conversation one way or another, but it still follows Lucille’s story. You can experience and explore that story differently, but Lucille is still her own character, and the story cannot be largely derailed.

If you’re already familiar with story-based games, you can think of Dialogue as a cross between a visual novel and a text-based game, but that’s only scratching the surface. The game is fully voice-acted, with art inspired by European cartoons and mechanisms of interaction that unfold as the game progresses.

Tea-Powered Games website up!

The website for Tea-Powered Games is up and running. For now, you can read a bit more about us as a company, and maybe sign up to the mailing list if you’re interested.

I’ve been spending most of my time doing work-related writing (it’s exciting to be able to call it work now!), but I should go back to posting more regularly, now that things feel a bit more settled.
